Charles Tyrwhitt opens its first store in Dubai with Jashanmal Group

The store offers fittings and personal styling alongside shirts, suits and casual clothing, and opens about two months after Dunhill's new Middle East flagship in Dubai Mall was reported open.

Charles Tyrwhitt, the London shirt and suit retailer, has opened its first store in Dubai in partnership with the Jashanmal Group, GCC Business News reported on 21 November 2025. The store sells the brand's British-style tailoring and menswear and offers fittings and personal styling. The report did not name the mall or give the store's size or opening date.

Charles Tyrwhitt runs more than 56 stores of its own in the UK, France and the United States and has more than 40 franchise stores around the world, according to the report. Its shirts come in three fits and in more than 500 combinations of size, collar, cuff, color and pattern, and the brand says it works with heritage mills and Italian craftsmen.

“We are proud to bring Charles Tyrwhitt to Dubai as part of our ongoing commitment to introducing world-class brands”

Joe Irons, chief marketing officer of Charles Tyrwhitt, said the company was proud to open in Dubai with Jashanmal Group.

A growing international business

The opening builds on a business that already earns more abroad than at home. In the year to 3 August 2024, Charles Tyrwhitt's sales passed $400 million for the first time, and revenue outside the UK rose 18% to $221 million, more than its UK sales of $184 million, according to accounts reported by Retail Gazette in April 2025. The company said at the time that customers were spending more time in the office.

Dunhill's Dubai Mall flagship

Charles Tyrwhitt follows another British menswear name into the city. On 12 September 2025 The Retail Bulletin reported that Dunhill had opened its flagship boutique for the Middle East in Dubai Mall, developed with a regional retail partner. The store is laid out as three connected rooms finished in natural wood and textiles, and sells Dunhill's tailoring and ready-to-wear alongside leather goods, footwear and hard luxury items. Dunhill also has flagships in London, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Dunhill chief executive Andrew Holmes called the opening a significant moment for the brand. Samara Punjabi, chief executive of Dunhill's Dubai partner, said Dunhill suited the tastes of sophisticated male customers in the Middle East.

What it means for buyers in Dubai

The two openings give Dubai shoppers more British ready-to-wear tailoring at two price levels, from a shirt and suit brand built on direct selling to a luxury house. Both stores sell ready-made clothing with fitting and styling services. Buyers who want a suit cut from a pattern drafted for them will still need one of the city's custom tailors, and our guide to getting a suit made in Dubai explains prices, timing and what to expect.
