The Ermenegildo Zegna Group reported third-quarter revenue of about $486 million on 22 October 2026, an increase of 8.9% on a year earlier and 8.2% on an organic basis. Over the first nine months of 2026, revenue reached about $1.59 billion, up 7.2%. The group, founded in 1910 in Trivero, Italy, owns the ZEGNA, Thom Browne and TOM FORD FASHION brands.
How each brand performed in the quarter
Growth came almost entirely from the group's namesake brand. ZEGNA revenue rose 13.8% to about $318 million, or 12.7% on an organic basis. TOM FORD FASHION grew 5.4% to about $78 million. Thom Browne went the other way, with revenue down 5.9% to about $51 million, which the company put down to weaker demand and a deliberate trimming of its wholesale business.

Why the group's own stores matter
Direct-to-consumer sales, meaning revenue from the group's own stores and websites, rose 13.0% to about $376 million. For the ZEGNA brand alone, direct sales grew 18.2%. Sales to department stores and other retailers fell 5.2% to about $71 million. Selling direct now accounts for 84% of branded revenue, up from 82% a year earlier.
By region, the Americas led the quarter, with direct sales up 14.0%, while the Greater China Region grew 8.7%. The company noted a slowdown across the industry in Greater China but said it expects the ZEGNA brand to stay solid there. Over nine months, revenue in the Americas reached about $494 million, up 14.7%.
“As we enter the final months of the year, we look ahead with cautious confidence.”

What it means for people buying suits
The figures show a group whose growth now comes through its own shops. ZEGNA counted 275 directly operated stores at the end of September, after four net closures in the quarter, and the group's total of single-brand stores fell to 650 from 666 at the end of 2025.

For buyers, the practical reading is that the brand's own boutiques are where its business is growing, while its wholesale sales through other retailers are shrinking. What happens next
The company said the Americas should keep outperforming, though the comparison with last year is becoming harder. Zegna will publish its full-year 2026 results on 15 March 2027.
