Zegna's case rests on fabric and on a service built for speed. Ermenegildo Zegna founded the business as a wool mill in Trivero, Piedmont, in 1910, and introduced Su Misura, its made-to-measure service, in 1972. A client chooses the fabric, model, buttons, linings and finishing for a suit made to his measurements; Zegna's own pages describe a private appointment with a specialist, a team of tailors who refine the fit and a garment ready in a few weeks.
Dubai matters to the company. The Dubai Mall store opened in May 2009 as Zegna's first global concept store in the Middle East, about 437 square meters designed by Peter Marino and opened with the local partner UAE Trading Establishment. In June 2025 Zegna showed its summer 2026 collection at Dubai Opera, its first runway show outside Italy, and ran a week-long Villa Zegna where selected clients could order pieces made bespoke from scratch. The store reopened after a renovation in late 2025 and offers ZEGNA X, a configurator for personalized pieces delivered in under four weeks.
What Zegna does not publish is the detail a tailoring ranking needs: who measures and fits in Dubai, how many fittings a Su Misura suit receives and what it costs. A 2020 account from Zegna's Sydney boutique described a tailor taking measurements, about five weeks of production in Italy and a second appointment to correct sleeve and jacket length, a fair guide but not a Dubai commitment. Zegna's true bespoke is cut and made by hand in Milan.
Choose Zegna for a well-made suit in exceptional fabric, delivered quickly, from a store open every day until late. Against Brioni, in the same mall, it has the longer Dubai record and says more about its process. Neither matches a Dubai tailor who cuts an individual pattern and fits the client in the city.

Can I order a made-to-measure Zegna suit in Dubai?
Zegna offers Su Misura through its boutiques, by private appointment with a specialist, and its Dubai Mall store lists tailoring services. Call the store on +971 4 330 8811 to book and to confirm how many fittings are included; Zegna does not publish that.
How long does a Zegna Su Misura suit take?
Zegna says a few weeks, and its own copy elsewhere gives about one month from order to delivery. Pieces personalized through ZEGNA X, its 3D configurator, are delivered in under four weeks.
Does Zegna make bespoke suits in Dubai?
Not as a standing service. Zegna's bespoke is cut and made by hand in Milan. During Villa Zegna at Dubai Opera in June 2025, selected clients could have pieces made bespoke from scratch, but that was a one-week event.
