Casa Zaffarano is a newer kind of Milan tailor: a made-to-measure business designed around speed and hospitality. Clients are received by appointment in a showroom in a 19th-century palazzo on Corso Venezia, choose from Italian and international mills, and specify details from lapel shape to thread color and hem height. The firm says a suit takes four to six weeks, or about 20 days on its express service, where a traditional sartoria needs months.
Its own answers on Matrimonio.com say one fitting is usually enough, with three or four for fully handmade garments, and list wedding suits from $1,100 to $3,800. That puts it well below the bespoke tailors on this list in price. The range is broad: suits, coats, dinner suits and morning dress, shirts, knitwear and women's tailoring.
It is a young business with a short record. Most published coverage concerns its opening and its growth rather than the make: no independent reviewer has yet assessed a finished suit, and the firm does not say where its garments are made or who cuts them.
Choose it for a wedding or a first made-to-measure suit, when time and budget matter more than a hand-cut pattern and several fittings. For true bespoke, look to A. Caraceni or Musella Dembech.
